WELCOME TO THE MALAYSIAN ALLIANCE OF TECHNICAL THEATRE

Established in 2003, we are an alliance of practicing theatre technicians that aim to raise the standard of technical theatre in Malaysia.

Our activities include the organisation of events, industry training and exchange programs. We also aim to make available resources such as agreements, contracts and codes of ethics for our members that guide them towards professionalism in their field.

A directory of members in their various fields will also be made available to the public.

Sound Design & Set Design/Construction

Following up on last year's series of design workshops, The Malaysian Alliance of Technical Theatre (MATT) and The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL), supported by The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC) are proud to bring back the Japan-Malaysia Technical Design Workshop 2005. This year's focus will be on Sound Design (conducted by Ms. Kyoko YAMADA) and Set Design & Construction (conducted by Mr. Mitsu HISASHI).
